Zingisa Damane
Co-Founder and Operations Director
Zingisa has had a colourful corporate career as she has worked across a variety of industries and positions. She has always wanted to be in the finance field so she can make a difference in the world through building robust businesses in her country and around the world. She is a corporate finance specialist, with years of experience in project finance, valuations, due diligences and capital raising. She has worked for top companies such as Discovery, Transnet, Deloitte, EY and Diageo and she has worked on numerous transactions throughout sub-saharan Africa. Zingi, as she is known, is well versed in financial modelling and has provided extensive training to other individuals in this regard. She has performed financial modelling for various energy and infrastructure projects including the initial Department of Energy REIPP programme, various solar energy projects, railway projects including the Gautrain and developing management systems for various small businesses and projects. Zingi is passionate about giving back to her community. She is a board member of Nkathuto EduPropeller, an NGO focused on the development of STEM skills for young people. She has volunteered for Help2Read and literacy programme in Johannesburg and was a facilitator for Sasol's Am I Preneur programme.

Sbusisio is a lateral thinking Treasury professional with experience within the African banking markets delivering and managing projects in Infrastructure Financing, Capital and Balance Sheet Management, Asset and Liability Management, Funding and Liquidity Management and Treasury Execution Services. He has lived and worked in various countries including England, Tanzania and Kenya. He is an expert on African and Global markets. He is currently completing his Masters in Development Finance at the University of Cape Town.

We approached this project carefully, as it was our very first undertaking of capital raising for company of this nature. The client is a new business with great potential in the gaming space. As difficult as it is to determine a value for this business, the investors lined up understand the space and are well versed with the risks invloved. We studied our client’s business to create a focused and effective solution - and then watched it grow.
